How to strengten and strech hamstrings at home?

Well touching your toes stretches your hammies. Not sure how to strengthen them without resistance of some sort...

there are many good ways to strengthen the hamstrings with no equiptment you may try glute ham raises bodyweight style from vjb for example. and many hyperextensions can strengthen them.

if you have a fitness ball, theres an exercise called hamstring rolls which you could do. lunges may help a little too.

you could probably do some excersises with a pair of dumbbells if u have any, if not they are cheap and nice to have at home as they dunt take much space and stuf biggrin.gif

hello.. has everybody forgotten about deadlifts and squats?? those will always be the best exercises to strengthen your hams

ya glute ham raises are very could for targeteting your glutes and the dont use weights

here is a hamstring exercise you can do most places you just need an office chair

and the best stretch would probably be sitting down and touching you toes
(i heard that doing it standing is bad for the back?)
